First Episode Review

Whoa I just finished watching the first episode that will air November 2, 2019 8PM EST/PST and it took me back to that heart-wrenching day February 9, 2009. I was glued to HLN for weeks watching all their coverage on Haleigh.

HLN’s Original Series “Real Life Nightmare” opens their season discussing the details of Haleigh’s case. Watch Haleigh’s great grandmother Annette emotionally recall the last time she saw little Haleigh the day before she went missing.

Listen to the investigators talk about how the case unfolded and how every road led them right back to Misty. You will see crime scene photographs that have never been made public before.

Watch exclusive footage that has never been released. This footage not only includes a conversation Ronald and Misty had while at the police station in the interrogation room; you will also see the police doing a walk through of the house with Misty just days after Haleigh went missing.

Five-year-old Haleigh was last seen sleeping in her family’s trailer on February 9, 2009 in the area of Hermit’s Cove in Satsuma, Florida.

She went to bed at 8:00pm and her father’s live-in girlfriend, Misty Croslin went to bed in the same room at 10:00pm. Haleigh’s younger brother was sleeping in the same room as well.

Haleigh’s father, Ronald Cummings finished up working a second shift and came home sometime after 3:00am. Misty told Ronald that she had just discovered Haleigh missing from her bed.

The rear door to the trailer was several inches ajar and the screen door had been propped open with a cinderblock. Ronald and Misty called 911 at 3:37am to report Haleigh missing.

Police found no sign of forced entry in the trailer, but are uncertain whether the back door was locked. Ronald and Misty insisted that it was. An extensive search of the area showed no sign of Haleigh. Ronald says that Haleigh wouldn’t have left home by herself at night because she is afraid of the dark.

Tune in to HLN Saturday November 2, 2019 at 8PM EST/PST to find out the rest of the story and what has happened since Haleigh went missing.
